Creativity isn’t JUST practice, and there needs to be a middle ground available to people who desire to join the community but physically have no talent. It’s not just laziness, it’s not just time - it’s a lot of things that hinder people who aren’t quite literally gifted at the inner voice vision that allows people to go from stick cave paintings to the framed paintings in museums. Which is why AI art should be refined to a way that it CAN be deemed palatable, if not as a finished product but as part of shaping the learning process so that more people can do what you do And that’s it. There’s a way to make both parties happy, but as is the case with most things in the last couple decades the loudest voice in the room ends up being ‘my way, and the highway doesn’t even exist’ So how can we do anything at all, then?
