I'm a 3D artist and a programmer who's been learning for years, honestly AI was never that big of a concern to me.
I don't use generative AI myself but I can see the benefits of it, it could speed up things like texturing models or getting images to photoshop and edit.
Might potentially also be really useful for people with disabilities who want to ease the burden and express themselves without having to jump through many hoops.
