I think AI Art has a place tbh both for those who have a creative mind but cant draw/paint etc, but also for new generative stuff. Sure, you can argue the concepts come from everyone else, but dont most concepts? Think about it, Music, Art plus many other fields, designs come from other peoples ideas. Back in the day, Queen sued Vanilla Ice for the baseline of Under Pressure, now look at the music industry to, sounds are created digitally, and sampled wildly from other peoples ideas. Its just one of those things that happens. And sure, there should definitely be some restrictions for blatant copyright, but if you have an original concept, and use AI to generate it, whats wrong with that? Where AI can really shine with regards to general Art, is you can come up with crazy concepts that are not even pliable in real life, you cant take a photo of a dog with a hula hoop, but you can create it digitally, but what if you dont have the skills? It doesn't make it any less of art, and art should be shown
