Eric schmidt is frightening. His cronies are gonna unleash this monster woth no regulations. As a former aerospace system engineer who wrote specifications for future killing systems, I call BS, Mr Schmidt. I think you and all your egotistical billionaire buddies are psychopaths. You fit right into the Batman movie evil genius character. We're gonna give you xontrol of the universe? Aaaaaagh. Your AI is probably plugging me in for future harrassment as a troublemaker. Gonna let medical AI reject me for a heart transplant, or State Department AI revoke my passport? Or just deliver erroneous instructions for my automatic prescription refills? Or harrass me to death with tax audits? I could go on and on. These systems will be able to hunt down a person or group and legally destroy them. Maybe they will misguide aviation so they target my flight for a crash because they value getting rid of me more than the colatteral damoge of 300 others. They are not programmed for humanity, they are programmed for economic short term profit. Brave new world.
