When I got into my trade, to do a job could take 10 people all night. Now you can do that same job with 1 person in an hour. This is before AI. Anything that can be automated, will be automated. Remember too that intelligence is an evolutionary adaptation. If a species does not need human intelligence then that adaptation will fade away.
