Hollywood is gonna use AI as much as it can. Actors and writers can refuse allowing use of image and writing style under current laws so I'm not worried there. Here's what their solution might look like. Examine Hollywood history. Mary Pickford and her husband Douglas Fairbanks (i think), created united artists because they felt they were underpaid and that new studio attracted lots of A list Hollywood stars and became a massive successful studio. The threat now is both greed and AI. Why not join forces between writers and actors and create a new studio called "Living Arts" or some such name and go head to head with the studios like Mary did a hundred years ago. I for one hate cgi. It looks cheap compared to practical effects and stunts, and the uncanny Valley is still wide. Strike while the iron is hot. Deprive Hollywood of living talent and do real movies again with quality writing and acting using only humans. I think there is a serious market for this. And i think a return to quality production values is long over due. My two cents. Have a great Sunday!
