I have a question. If it's an "automated" truck, why is there a seat? Obviously a human driver still needs to be "on hand" for certain situations. So what, the "driver" should be paid less since he is not driving all the miles, yet still has to be in the truck while it drives long distances? Being away from your home and loved ones for weeks sucks even with the current pay rates. Who would want to still do it if they are told they are going to be paid less
