When I was young I worked for a big company that was building boilers all over the place.
Once a week they would close off the top floor and an armored car would arrive with sacks of coin and Notes. A team of office workers would spend the next few hours sorting out the pay packets for all personnel on all its sites. It was a major task ..... fast forward to today and one woman on a computer deposits all the pays direct into their accounts in a quarter of the time. A massive saving for the company ..... but did the cost of its product come down. ......No! So what was wrong with sharing that benefit ??
AI will be just the same, but now it will throw many more out of work with no gain for the rest.
