Honestly Ai is weird... Personally I consider myself a 3d Artist, Indie Dev and AI researcher, and I HATE it when big companies use AI to save a buck and not pay human artists for better even actually good work instead of the slop AI produces on a regular basis. From Experience I can tell you that 99% of AI images are absolute garbage/nightmare fuel and when people post AI 'Art' on social media and present it as actual art, I hate it, Since well the only use case of AI that I am ok with personally is when individuals use AI art and EXPLICITLY State it is AI since sometimes I just can't stand the outputs that models make sometimes, since without MAJOR Human intervention, every AI Image looks like shit when compared to actual art made by actual humans, and even when people edit up the images sometimes they still look like trash when compared to actual human art. But hey I know most people will look at this and say I 'Support' AI companies like OpenAI or Midjounery and Stable diffusion, While I cannot deny that those companies have done a ton for AI in total, they also suck at being decent companies with actual good data gathering policies, and at model transparency, since all three of them don't publish any datasets so people could comb through them. TLDR: Hate AI companies in general as well as people who pass of AI work as actual art, instead of basic Ideas rendered out into a semi coherent image composed of denoising. But people using AI to make stuff that they CLEARLY state is AI and Don't attempt to make money on I don't care about them.
