There's a lot of optimism in these comments. However, the oligarchs won't need most of the human workers anymore. They'll let people starve or kill them off until the population is manageable. I mean there's a reason the same rich people who are actively building AI god are also fans of Curtis Yarvin. They literally want their own techno feudalism where they rule their own city state and keep the meager amount of poor people they do need in line with their AI supercharged surveillance state. That's why Peter Theil and Elon Musk funded the Trump campaign so they could get every American's personal data. That's the first step in manifesting their dream. It sounds like sci-fi drivel, but they're working towards this goal regardless.
