OMG I’m a dedicated believer in Christ and I have for some time been thinking that we are indeed in a sort of simulation. I myself called it a test or trial world. I think Revelations speak that the believers are going to judge the angels/spirits. This is quite the responsibility and not to mentions power. I mean just imagine how strong any angel was described compared to a human, yet a human gets to judge an angel. Therefore I think of this world as the test of character. Btw I don’t think that the merit of running the simulated world is achieving riches and fame. Being interesting I’d totally aggree with. And yeah in the first part of the talk, you mentioned the superintelligance creation would ne to seal the legacy. EVERY didaster humanity inflicted upon itself was because human egotism. Arrogance. Thinking that they are more important than everybody else. Therefore the quality of get to control a superintelligence is not primarily proper education, but he compassion and the ability to think about others outside him/herself.
