There is a big difference in code generated by AI and Humana made. If someone makes a very small project, like do it and forget and will never look at it again then reling heavily on AI is fine. If the project is planned to be maintained, then the AI made code becomes completely useless. It is totally unmaintainable, it lacs structure, its hard to read, unoptimized and buggy. AI can be a tool for programmer to do some mundane tasks like "Create List of country codes" and searching documentation. AI doesn't understands what it is doing, it is a language model. Thinking is the real programmer work, writing code comes second and AI is bad at both currently.
