Ai as a tool is a common argument. The thing is: whenever you hold a brush, the result will be the same/highly similar. Ai could spit out a very different result even with the same prompt.
Besides that, the focus of coypright is creation. Thats why you cant copyright ideas. Its about the way you specifically, as a human, expressed your idea in a material form. Text, painting, sculpture, etc.
But with ai, you are not doing that anymore, it does.
You can argue that a prompt thats written like a book should be protected but that wouldnt help the result anyway. Cause then, nobody could use that prompt, but if they managed to have the same picture created... well
