I normally don’t defend AI, but this drama was blown out of proportions. We should be focusing our energies to take down the AI creators instead of sending a witch mob to fan artists who aren’t even drawing as their primary source of income.
Keep in mind that if you’re an artist referencing real life photos of celebrities:
You’re also ripping off of photographers, fashion designers, fashion stylists, editors who don’t even get paid to collaborate with that celebrity.
