And the thing is it's not ai's fault, because ai/automation is a tool. The reality is with the rise of ai and automation, society will NEED to implement an alternative form of income just so the masses a) won't go hungry and b) won't rise up and overthrow those in power. So because of that, we'll most likely see UBI be implemented as a means to counter the loss of jobs.
