LOL, this was what I was saying all along. If people think that their AI is going to have consciousness they are smoking some special weed or they are having a god complex. Just like a little kid trying to build a living robot out of cardboard and paperclips, it will never happen. couple that with the current technology and you have a recipe for failure. People are just fear mongering.
