Things can always be improved but If it has 90 percent fewer serious crashes that would be a great achievement. Randroid Musk likes to criticize Waymo but they have been doing real safe self-driving for years now while Teslas are racking up the fatalities. Musk promised coast to coast FSD as far back as 2016. He has a formula. Promise vaporware delivery timelines he can't keep to get capital investment. He then uses that capital to hires armies of engineers and prays they can produce what Musk lacks the talent to do himself. Rinse and repeat. He claim to "work" over a hundred hours a week but he spends more time tweeting nonsense and peddling far rightwing conspiracy theories than working. He delegates 99.9999 of work to others than acts like he's an expert in everything. What a bs artist.
