The video is also focusing on drones, so there is no need to worry about rocks and trees as there are none at crusing altitude. Besides that its realy not that hard to connect a facial recognizion camera to a mounted machine gun. Program it as you see fit to recognize for say firearms and you have your autonomous robot making life and death decisions. Its realy simple.
