ChatGPT is already known to have cognitive biases that it absorbed from human text. In addition to these, it also hallucinates on its own right. I suspect that those actually might be its _own_ "cognitive" biases. This is something to keep in mind. If something is trained by human output, it's going to absorb human biases. But on top of those, it will have its own cognitive biases alien to us, that are caused by its architecture. So it's possible that an AI system with superhuman intelligence will just run around in mental circles, just like most human beings do.
