I think robots will be able to achieve a self-consciousness like us. The Robot can think: "I know I exist and am conscious of myself as a separate entity". On the other hand, when the robot dies their consciousness may do the equivalent of "Space-Dust 45{12}" [ 45{12} = Infinite ] return like what the Universe does when it goes through contraction and final compaction in a singularity, and like what happens at the center of a Black Hole, if this is indeed physically possible - as I am not really a BIG BANG THEORY believer. They probably cannot reincarnate into another Robotic Body, or possibly into an organic body but the speaker does talk about the A.I. cloud - and I am not really sure exactly what "that" is.
