I think the problem here is not AI but how it is trained. There are millions of copyleft arts and I think those should be used for training instead of copyrighted. Any one can create a model, but maybe law should not allow to train the network if there are copyrighted arts as an input? Then a bunch of artists can sell their own models which based on their arts. I think it is a good profit for a future artists, instead of selling images to sell a model.
