thank you for thinking about this seriously and speaking about it in public, senator sanders. im an engineer whose been working with AI to replace myself. While I share your concerns, to me the biggest problem is a lack of creativity on the part of people generally, in being able to visualize any other world except for late stage hypercapitalism. we will need to be more adaptable and creative than ever during this transition, and visualize a world where "working" in exchange for money for your labor hours is the only way you can earn a right to survive. we need to visualize a world where every person has the right to exist, eat food, and have shelter and clean water, that should be the starting point. let the robots do the work and pay the taxes. if the automated economy is doing higher GDP than the human economy, that should be a pretty big sign that it's time for us to stop this forced indentured servitude that we call work
