This is something that I’ve had to research a lot. For a long time, research has shown that AI’s “objectivity” covers up issues in the tech’s system. This comes from the field being populated with white men. They’ll overlook issues because it won’t occur to them that a data set is biased or a certain method would introduce bias etc. I’ve always found it funny that AI has such large amounts of human error. And it’s not insignificant. POC have literally died because of this. And it’s not getting fixed.
