I was watching a video on a ai software that makes music of any style with lyrics of your choice, super convincing, but I thought that I would never like to listen to something generated by a computer even if it sounds just like Mariah Carey or Steven Tyler, the reason i like music in big part is because these amazing artists can do things that are at the edge of human capabilities and see them composing, singing and performing is a great experience.
I think that arts need to be performed by humans in order to be great and amaze us, I mean for realistic drawings we always had the ability to take pictures instead, but a realistic portrait done by an artist even when he uses tools like a painting software always amaze us , because all the expertise we see this person using and maybe aspire to someday become as good, along with feelings , experiences, etc. that artist inject in their craft.
So maybe for automation Ai is great, but things like writing , painting, singing, etc. We should understand that these things have value because they are done by humans.
and BTW there is no such thing as AI art, that's stupid, there is AI generated images only.
