Aptitude is to be apt at something, to be able to do it well without formal training or significant effort, and to be able to achieve maximum benefit from training and effort. It’s precisely what I was taking about. Someone with an aptitude for art will find it easy to do, easy to improve and easy to be rewarded for. I’m not saying they’ve put in no effort, as you claim, but that they have drawn greater benefit and so encouragement from their initial efforts which led to greater opportunity and support to improve further.
You also seem to have been misinformed as to how AI works. When you think of how the models are trained ignore the claims that they have huge databases of images they pull from and think more of them having been shown lots of images to learn how to draw things…like how art students are taught through doing master studies.
