As we move toward automation, we have to have socialism. In fact, we already need it with our current level of automation and human attitudes toward other humans who are different than they are. Sending people to college won't work either because I have a damn college degree in the STEM field and still no job. We have to come up with some form of socialism we can agree on enough to pass it or society will unravel as people lose their jobs and become desperately poor.
