Although I am pro-AI... I think this is fair game. The AI companies stole the entire world's data to train their models and then had the audacity to release closed-weight models.
Chinese companies like deepseek, Zhipu, moonshot, Minimax taking those same models and releasing them as open source is just undoing the theft these companies did. If the data wasn't yours to use, then you shouldn't get to guard the product of your data.
