Uber was once really great and cheap for users and lucrative for drivers. Then it became expensive and the value reduced for users and drivers. The same will happen with ai. Each prompt will be paid because they can’t keep burning money forever, or there will be ads. Even if it wasn’t expensive to run, this would inevitably happen to drive profit margin higher and boost stock prices.
The real question is how to capitalize on it being mostly free for now. Shittification and shrinkflation are inevitable.
