Your sentiment and intentions are noble, but it is naive to believe that a ban will stop bad actors from using Autonomous Weapons. Unfortunately, this technology is out there, and like every other technology, will be used for both good and bad; that's reality. Ban or no ban, bad actors will employ this technology. Therefore, the US must maintain the edge on this technology and every other technology.
