Except when you put them heavily on rails they are, more so when humans are still interacting with them. LLMs can offer, for example, medical codes to be selected during a dictation, the doctor or nurse still needs to decide, but it removes the entire process of having to check what code is what and then manually getting everything filled and moved, there's quite a lot of these examples but these were being worked on before the average person was aware of what an LLM was.
