Same thing that happened during the dotcom bust.
The two are very similar in nature.
The internet changed the world, but not in the time horizon for most investors. They also bought into a bunch of bullshit.
And same as now, we all knew it was a bubble, but the fundamentals were sound.
AI is already changing the world. But the bubble is going to pop.
In the late 90's, the pop decimated the field. Amazon lost 90% of its value. But because they had a viable business model, they survived.
The same criteria should be used today.
