Having a good faith conversation about this on here can be difficult, since I'm a layman but here goes. I get AI can do some automated processes but taking information from one program and transferring it to an excel spreadsheet and some of the other stuff I do seems impossible for AI to do right now. Even though it's just data entry there just seems more to it with the current job I have that requires a human. But am I wrong? I'm more curious than afraid for some reason. It's deeply fascinating to me that AI is more than an advanced copy and pasting program and can do more complex processes than that. Can somebody better explain to me how much of AI is hype and when we can see it actually taking scheduling/clerical jobs?
