Keep at it! I know it can be discouraging but I encourage you to try new things and also to keep track of where you’ve applied on a spreadsheet. Not every recruiter reads cover letters but I include one for two reasons 1. The ones that do read my cover letter, I have a better chance at because it may impress them and 2. I can cover any gaps in my resume or relate unrelated experience. So I think it’s worth it for the ones that do read it. Lastly, I am unemployed at the moment so I have had a lot of time to apply. But since you work, I would set a reasonable goal for yourself like 2-3 a day, even just 1 a day. Good luck! Edit: To make your life easier with the cover letter, have a template and adjust a few sentences based on the position and the company’s mission statement. Check out my cover letter particularly in the first and last paragraph. The middle two of yours can stay the same from application to application. I used ChatGPT to help me write out why I liked the company. I just fed it a copy and paste of the company’s mission statement on their website, copied the sentences I wanted it to finish and it did the work. Don’t make your life harder than it needs to be!
