AI is quickly entering the uncanny valley of general intelligence, it's pretty close to being the same but there is something amiss when dealing with AI. The weird thing is why there is such a strong reaction to something the uncanny valley, something cross between creepy and disgusting. That's a very weird evolutionary trait to have in the first place, and something caused us to have that trait.
