In the very near future AI will have much much better and ethically correct decisionmaking than any single human will. So then yes ofcourse. Top comment is actually wrong because humans should not have the final say in this at all. Doing so simply brings it back to a single (biased) person deciding wether something is ethically right rather than a collective of all humans on earth which the AI will represent in the future. Keep in mind Putin is one person and he is deciding in battle, just for reference. In the near future AI will be the judge of all ethical issues because it's the only way to have a hivemind that DOES come to the correct conclusion on what we want as a whole (all of humanity.) No single person or group of people can do that without serious bias regardless of how smart they are. An AI could weigh in all opinions and angles equally with 0 bias. This might not happen because psychopaths in power will always think they know whats best (for them) and won't ever allow a hivemind to make the correct choices for us because obviously this won't benefit them and their personal agendas.
