The images aren't biased, but the fact that they contain fewer black people than white means that the AI is not as good at differentiating black people from monkeys than white people.
The police profiling AI is fed completely true police data, but that data is a result of decades of racial profiling, so the algorithm is biased.
Real world data is rarely unbiased.
