If my developing country were to completely switch over to 100% renewable energy tomorrow by midnight, we'll have another economic crisis the next morning after.
Like we want to switch over, but we don't have the resources to scale it up and still remain profitable as a country. We can't spend too much R&D cuz we better spend it on other stuff, like feeding poor people or something. Somebody has to take the lead, us poorer countries will surely follow.
