Holy shit that is so sad. Even if the driver was paying attention, assuming the resolution on that camera isn't garbage, you couldn't see her until it was too late.
That poor woman, she even chose to walk in between the two light poles so there was no way to see her from distance.
If Uber hadn't deactivated the safety and self driving features of the Volvo, it would've braked in time. So tragic.
