It's not that simple. If I draw still life, I have to sit down and work on that drawing for hours. If I'm drawing something inspired by another piece that I saw, I still have to process it, come up with new ideas, add my own spin (granted, to varying degrees), etc.
AI art is just stealing entire pieces for use in its output. There's a difference between me sketching a picture of a table and some chucklefuck on Reddit hopping on Craiyon and typing "Table van gogh looks pretty"
It's like if I went into your house, took your TV and sold it on Facebook Marketplace then said to you "Oh but Facebook marketplace is already there and your TV was out in the open, you can't complain"
