That "transformative change" they're talking about would have to include drastically reducing human population. The amount of humans we have (7+ billion) is too much for us to even ensure everyone is fed. There have been no meaningful moves by ANY government body to address the situation. Paris Climate Accord? Would not have put even a dent in climate change (just raised taxes). Countries banning all cars? Pointless. Auto/truck emissions are ever decreasing as electric cars are on the rise. Declaring a "climate emergency"? Doesn't do shit to address the real issues and only allows a leader/government to use authoritarian power, which I assume we are all ok with if it's to "save the earth." Down with Tyranny! Except to save the polar bears...
