Terence Tao saying AI lets him explore ideas that "once felt too unexpected, too ambitious, or too time-consuming" that's the real endorsement. This isn't about saving time on busywork. It's about expanding what scientists even dare to try.
The future of research isn't AI replacing thinkers. It's AI giving thinkers more room to think.
how/where do you use it?

I believe it’s a short dip as companies are starting to realize how implementing AI does not really solve their business problems without a human in the loop feeding it clean data/context, and training it how to use it properly. We are far from Autonomous AI for most use cases.
Now do I think people should be gaining new skills and shifting their paradigm of exploring new industries/careers outside of their education and degree? YES!! 100%
We are in such a fast pace culture that you will need to go back to college every 10 years to reset.
Priit Kallas ✨ I use Gemini Omni on Flow. It’s the most convenient tool
The technology is impressive, but what interests me most is how these advances may change productivity, careers, and economic growth long before AGI arrives. The human and financial impact could be just as significant as the technical progress.
Nice touch with “standard ruts” like after Apollo we let the moon just sit there for over a half century with a pittance of exploration like Clementine.
AI 🤖 should be commercially hobbled in certain ways.
These firms should still hire entry level as their commercial future will be at high risk in survival.
1.) AI 🤖 plus minimal staff means a bad airplane ✈️ or bus 🚌 accident literally may take down a minimal head count to effective zero.
2.) Creative guidance or mere day to day steering of the organization may be hell vent into a self destruct in strategy or tactics to a high deviation from optimal functions.
3.) Generational hand off to zero staff?

AI opens a new space for human exploration. By reducing cognitive friction, it can allow researchers, scientists and thinkers to approach ideas that once seemed too complex, too ambitious or too distant to pursue.
But the true frontier of innovation is not only what AI can accelerate. It is what Human Intelligence can choose to explore with discernment, responsibility and vision.
In this new era, progress will not depend on technology alone, but on the quality of the human mind guiding it the ability to give direction, meaning and purpose to what becomes possible.
AI may expand the path of discovery. Human Intelligence gives it orientation.
Virtual Solutions India I agree. Preserving the path is essential. However, recording the steps is not necessarily the same as understanding them. The deeper question may be who assigns meaning to those paths and transforms a sequence of events into knowledge.
Richard Self What is it with these guys? If someone is claiming that AI can solve massive problems, how can capability not be an issue?
"The biggest breakthroughs often start as ideas that make no sense to most people."
Tianyu Xu That’s brilliant! 🤩👏😍🩷
Shocking but true 🤯
Eva Norte thank you!
This is a powerful perspective AI lowering cognitive friction so researchers like Terence Tao can explore bolder, more unconventional paths.
The idea of preserving the paths behind discovery is just as important as the results themselves for advancing scientific discovery and mathematical innovation.
How do we ensure that AI accelerates creativity without unintentionally narrowing the diversity of research directions explored? #Cybernorse
Symptoms: "For the past two weeks, I've had this constant headache that won't go away no matter what painkillers I take. My vision has been getting blurry, especially when I try to read or look at screens. I feel nauseous most mornings and sometimes I see spots. I'm 38 years old and this has never happened to me before. Should I be worried?"
I converged on the community of Ai governance from a theory I formulated and I discovered that we are building the Tower of Babel, so I built an Anti-Babel governance layer for agenticAi. I have timestamps of my Tower of Babel work since December
Really clever, I'm impressed
Thank you!
He's trying. Let's see if anyone is listening. Really listening.
