It’s not that it’s too hard, as I had already said in my original comment, it’s impractical to go and do something you aren’t passionate about when there is a free option out there, which yes, means I think AI artists are not artists, anyone who says they are and uses AI for work is dumb, I was defending the use AI in art, and when I say defend I mean that im explaining why nothing can be done about it, im not actively promoting it or saying that it’s not bad, it is
But look at laborers and factory machines, what happened there is the same thing that is happening here, a more efficient way for companies is presenting itself and eliminating the working class, the economy thankfully adjusted to the machines, but art probably won’t, AI isnt a tool for art, it’s a way people get free art and for some reason sell it? I don’t even know why people buy AI art when they can get it so easily, but if it’s AI, you should be able to use it for your own personal use as long as it isn’t copyrighted or entirely someone else’s work as in the case of Ghibli
