People who are against AI art because it is not "human-made" are appealing to a subjective reason. Art is not just something made by human beings, and human beings themselves do not have the capacity (without cultural stimuli or conditioning) to discern whether art is made by humans or not.
They did an experiment where a chimpanzee painted a picture and had several critics criticize it. None of them thought it was done by a chimpanzee, but rather by a young person (if I'm not mistaken).
The criticism should be on something more tangible than this "human soul" nonsense. AI companies steal images from other artists, that should be the criticism.
