Listen, we're both entitled to our opinions and you can be as emotional as you want about it but "studying datasets" is how we are influenced and inspired as people. I like AI art and honestly my job and life is so much better because of it. The main reason is because I achieve my goals without having to deal with artists, which frankly is the worst part of my job. Because it's people's hobby and passion on the line I can understand the frustration. Jobs and careers for those who can't adapt are on the line as well. But you sound like live entertainers saying radio will kill the medium, or radio jockeys saying video will kill the medium, videographers saying CGI and digital cameras will kill the medium.
If the medium is robust and provides value to our cultures, it will never die. To think one can't enjoy art unless it's made in a particular way is... absurd at best, dangerous at worst (please don't burn my books).
