@ I guess I look at what mechanization alone has done to and for the logging industry and my question is how long before forest owners strap cameras to the machine and put it to work? Seems like the tech is getting there with self driving cars. Some trucking outfits have AI cameras that detect risky behaviors, even catch them yawning and warn the driver. To me that seems like for just the basic person it’s not long before they/we will be replaced. With your knowledge what do you see as a likely timeline for the rise of AI? Or what advances do they need to make before it’s viable for widespread implementation?
