@scullyf2254 I think there will be the possibility of two kinds of AI. A model programmed with true concious thought and one that was designed to work labor and does not require much intelligence. So, as long as humanity doesn't associate the labor-based machines as "conscious", we won't have a problem because indeed, we programmed them to be our "slaves". But when it comes to an AI which has gone beyond the uncanny valley (looks just like a human; indistinguishable), mirrors or surpasses our intelligence, and believes itself to be "alive" with emotional intelligence, then we have a real dilemma. If we treat them as slaves, surely there would be a backlash.
