machine learning engineering student; i agree, you can ask an ai to cite sources in standardized formats for you and you can tell right away if its blowing smoke. using an LLM to obtain information is googling without checking if youre clicking on a sketchy website. oftentimes the sources of info used by an LLM are the first 3 google results, ads or not.
