AI and robotics will eventually lead to new economic systems. We should be thinking about what happens when you either remove labour from the equations or reduce its importance. That could be a long time off. The Industrial Revolution did didn’t happen overnight and its effects weren’t even everywhere. I’d watch how China adjusts, as they can make changes faster with central government control, without omitting the cultural considerations that economists often overlook.
