@terrymckenzie8786 we can always create new purposes as we grow but the main factor here is that AI will do everything so well that the purpose for doing things will not be the same. It’s like playing a video game on god mode. There’s no struggle, no suffering, you just ace the game without a problem. And that gets boring pretty darn fast 😕
I hope that AI will be a tool that we can Harness. But even then, if it gets it’s own goals (whether it’s conscious or not) it can easily look at us as a barrier.
I think that AI should be developed in space, that way it doesn’t have any incentive to destroy the human species it could just leave into a different solar system (if it came to this)
