They don’t understand how their product works. They can only try to guide it, but cannot fully control it. That’s what the big debate is about - are Altman and other AI CEOs concerned with the fact that they cannot understand ChatGPT or are they simply only concerned with reaching super intelligence, at which point a human with all their flaws, biases, gullibility will stand no chance.
